I am a Consultant Paediatrician with over 20 years of experience working with parents to care for children. I grew up in Yorkshire and graduated from Manchester Medical School.

I have worked as a busy Hospital Paediatric Consultant with a particular interest in Paediatric Gastroenterology and Eating Disorders, but over the 12 years I have focused on neurodevelopmental issues like ADHD and Autism, developmental delays, learning disabilities, and child safeguarding. I took a break from NHS work from June 2023.

My main interests are ADHD, Autism, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE), and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).

I have held various leadership roles in the NHS and received awards for improving service quality, including the development of sleep and ADHD services for children and young people.

As an Associate Specialist I collaborate with the ADHD Foundation and Focus Mental Health team in comprehensive ADHD and neurodevelopmental assessments for young individuals with complex backgrounds, including those involved with Youth Justice Services, Looked after Children, and Post-Adoption and where FASD is suspected.

I accept referrals from the ADHD Foundation, Focus Mental Health, but also directly from a concerned parent via Ghosh Medical Group.

Additionally, I offer consultations for young individuals with an established ADHD diagnosis who are considering medication, ensuring a thorough assessment process.

While my clinic is based in Liverpool, I extend my services to children from all over the UK, with the possibility of arranging appointments in Manchester or Chester upon request. Initial appointments are always conducted face-to-face, with subsequent appointments available via video.

My assessments and reports adhere to the highest standards set by NICE and local NHS ADHD services. Please note that the acceptance of a private diagnosis by local NHS services may vary, so please check yourself.
